Brent is a business man that has worked in the Central Business District of Dunedin since 1980. He is a qualified Jeweller and Watchmaker and owns his own Jewellery business with his wife Jo.

Brent is very passionate about preserving the fine Heritage of Dunedin city along with hassle free commutes in private & public transport which he feels has been eroded over the last few years.

He is not afraid to get involved & to speak out about what he believes in and he has been a staunch critic to date of our current Councils direction. He was the instigator of a 6500-signature petition to retain the 2-way traffic flow of George Street. He also was a strong advocate for the retaining of easy access to Central Dunedin for all citizens.

Brent believes in setting realistic goals for our city in relation to our population. These need to be practical & achievable by ensuring our Dunedin city lives within its financial means with a goal of reducing the debt burden for all rate payers. Brent is a team player who wants to work with positive like-minded candidates to ensure that our Dunedin City keeps its unique thriving Central Business district and a fantastic life style the rest of the Country can only envy.

Brent and his wife Jo have worked extremely hard to become a self-made success & feel the time is right to give back to the Dunedin community.
